How to extract the downloaded packages?-
This is quite easy. All files are packed with WinRAR, which can be downloaded for free here. It compresses files much better than winzip and therefor causes less traffic for me and brings shorter download times for you.
- Where should i extract the packages to?

All downloaded meshes have to be placed in the "My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads" folder. You may add subfolders for a more convenient structure of your downloads, but everything has to be in this main downloaded packages folder.
- Do i need any tools for your meshes?

Yes. You have to have installed the Color Options Enabler, if you wan't recolors to show up ingame. It can be downloaded here.
- How to install the collection icon?

Simply put the collection icon in the folder "My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Collections\Icons" and create a new collection ingame. If there is no icon folder within the collections folder, simply create a new folder, name it "icons", copy the image into this folder and start the game. The new icon will show up in the icon list, if you create a new collection.
- How to install houses?

If you did download a house and are not able to import it into the game, please right click on the file and choose "Open with". Afterwards, try one of the following "Package installers" from maxis. Maybe you have to try all three before it works.
- C: / Program files / EA Games / The Sims 2 / CS Bin
- C: / Program files / EA Games / EP NAME / CS Bin
If none of those seem to work, you can try the "Sims2Pack clean installer", which can be downloaded for free here.
- Why do the downloads not show up ingame?

This can have some reasons:
You only downloaded a recolor and not the mesh
This is the most common reason. Recolors will not show up ingame, if you did not install the mesh, they are based on. Simply get the file in question and everything should work fine.
The download failed
Please try to re-download the file. Sometimes files get slightly corrupted during the download process and do not work anymore.
You do not have installed the required expansion pack
You have to have installed at least the expansion pack listed with each object. Otherwise, the object will not show up ingame.
You do not have actived custom content
Check in your main options in the neighbourhood view, if the option "show custom content" is activated. If not, please do so and restart your game.
- May i recolor your meshes or include your creations in my houses?

You are allowed to recolor our meshes, include our creations in your houses, share meshes with recolors you did on your website and you may also include genetics etc. in sims packages. Do NOT alter any creations and upload them under your name or do pure filesharing.
